I’m a writer, photographer, and creative strategist, and PULSE/PULSE is the practice that brings those things together.
I’m endlessly curious about the whys and hows of people: how they make things, build businesses, develop taste, form ideas, and notice what someone else might miss. I’m especially drawn to the details that make a person, brand, or body of work feel particular.
My process usually starts with questions. I listen, research, follow the interesting threads, and look for the thing that feels most true or distinctive. Then I help give it form—through strategy, words, photographs, and digital experiences.
I work with brands, founders, and independent creatives, and I’m particularly interested in projects that let me get close to someone’s world: interviews, profiles, portraits, and stories about how people live and create.
Outside client work, I publish Objectively and photograph creative lives.
You’ll often find me reading an “About” page, preparing too many questions for an interview, or tucked into a café with a book.
