A NOTEBOOK is a compilation of the back covers of my go-to notebook over the past nine years. It is a personal project self-published under PULSE/PULSE Press.
Concept
Anything that needs to leave my head and land on paper goes here—journalling, any sort of planning (writing, projects, dreams), bad drawings, even just testing a pen’s ink.
For someone who used to abandon notebooks for heaps of reasons, it’s a relief to not be precious with them. Just like how I once hoarded stickers bc sticking them anywhere felt too permanent a decision.
Then one day, I started placing them on the back cover of my notebook, giving them a home, letting go of the idea of a ‘perfect decision’.
Over time, I’ve come to see what stays the same and what shifts. A NOTEBOOK is an evocation, a time capsule, and more.
